"The install was standard for a USB install but you will need to go to another site to follow the proper proceddure for WINDOWS XP LOGO INSTALLATION. Program and scanner worked great ofter the procees was followed accurately.. I did it twice since the first time it didnt worked cus I didnt follow the directions. "If using this Mustek scanner, despite it being USB, do not plug it straight into an Xp box and let XP find the driver, it won't!

Run the insatll routine, then plug the scanner in, like we used in 98 etc."

"My hard disk crashed and I had to install this driver to bring the old scanner back to life. It worked. If Windows does not detect the scanner immediately, use 'detect new hardware'."

"15 minutes after download and install my system was completely wiped clean from a burrowing worm or virus if figure. (I had my system running clean with no issues up till this download.) Just be careful out there"

"Installing the driver either manualy or via the wizard, it scanned without a problem until you tried to follow an unsucessful pre-scan imediately with a subsequent pre-scan. at this point everything stopped. the only escape was to turn the power off and re boot."

"This is the driver you need if you have a 1200UB scanmagic driver. The UB plus drivers or 1200USB drivers didn't work. Also this driver installs on windows xp without having to alter the registery as with the original drivers."

"After a week of trying i'll find out:download mustek 1200ub drivers then you can use it by several programs as ulead photo express ,but the dialog box doesn't work any more so you can't fax

"Worked Well In WinXP but didn't worked with pain but it did worked fine with word 2003. i think it is the twain drivers, with office it openned the mustek app and worked real finne. thanks for this drv"
