"The driver downloaded was for the hardware that I have installed, yet it would not recognize the drive as the proper one for the driver. The driver download information and the information on the drive were the same, but would not update. So, this driver was useless to me."

"It didn't fix my problem, but since I'm using Vista, that can always be quirky. I suspect there are more issues going on in this computer than just the CD drive

"I Used this Driver and When I Rebooted the Computer I did Could Not Find the CDRW/DVD Rom Drive. It was like this Driver totally Erased the Drive from the Computer. So I NEED to Reinstall another Driver so that the Computer Can See the CDRW/DVD Rom and I Hope this other One Works Cause I do Not Know What to do If This Does Work! !"

"seguinte, tem que tomar cuidado na hora de instalar... tem que saber com certeza se o drive é master ou slaver... e tal... se naum pode dar pau. no meu caso, tentei uma atualizacaum pq o driver naum estava mais gravando... mas naum deu certo naum... ficou a mesma porcaria... valew"

"Did not work at all with the dvd-RAM, continues to find the DVD-ram as a Audio dvd, (In Burning)

Only finds it as a CD data."
