"Spent a long time looking for this driver - it is excellent and the modem works perfectly. I didn't use the .exe file - just used the 'Update Driver' option and pointed it at the extracted directory."

"Don't waste your time downloading this one! Go to the Conexant website and download HCFp_XP.zip if you want a driver that works with a conexant CX06834-11 chipset modem and WinXP.

"This did not work for me on a windows 2000 professional system. The PDF included says nothing about the CX06834-11 chipset, but has documentation for another chipset."

"Finally, internal modem now working. yipeee. Works fine with windows XP. Fortunately for its size, I would recommend a zipped back up on a floppy...(square little black discs that are almost obsolete). Many thanks to Jerry K and driverguide, an excellent site nonetheless."

"No joy for me with this one on Windows 2000 Professional, seems to instal, diagnostics check out OK but will not dial out. Now found a driver that does work with the same modem unit in the same system, (also on Driverguide)"
