"This appears to be the generic driver for the Radeon 9250, made from ATI/AMD. This is not suitable for the Sapphire video card that I was trying to install. Sapphire (very often) uses a modified Radeon driver for their cards."

"First driver for this card I have found after too many that did not give the BSD on shut down. Have to try it with Win 7 and 9200 card next. Have to install as have disk. Thanks"

"I have an HIS Radeon 9250 128MB PCI card that I put in an old HP server. I installed Windows Server 2008 and had no luck with drivers for the card until I tried this one. I thought that if it worked with Vista it might work with Server 2008 and it did. Thanks."

"Sucks!! Screwed up my system and required a System Restore to correct. Too bad Driverguide is now charging $$$ for dirver you got for free from all the users who just wanted to share their drivers with other people."

"Works fine and stable though not fully functional in Windows 7, no aero. But windows did stop complaining and crashing down every now and then due to Memory Dump Error originated by the radeon 9250 wich is completly incompatible in windows 7 due to lack of directx 9.0. My PC is a P4 3,4ghz with AGP slot for graphics card, so it`s this driver or new AGP card super expensive
