"This was not the driver for the Phillips CDD 4851 but for Roxio Software. It was of absolutely no value to me and only wasted time. I have since found the hardware driver on another site and will no longer have use for your site."

"Don't be fooled, This is not a driver for Windows XP, it is a driver for Roxio for the CDD4581. If you do not have a roxio product, then this driver will not help you."

"I haven't finished installing the driver, but I must restart the computer. If you don't see any additional comments from myself that means it worked just fine.

PD. Roxio web page says you need to update to version 5.3.5 before installing this, but the computer didn't display any message complaining. So I assume is OK.

"I was just looking for an update for my Philips burner. But it seems that the people at Phillips are having difficulties on keeping their software working. They just send people around and around to different sites just to end up at the very beginning after an hour or so. I have the original software on CD.

"This is the upddate for Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum only.

If you have ECDC BASIC version, find the file

ecdc_v5.3.5.10_basic_enu.exe from the roxio website.

I think you need qualifying product.

Then find driveup5.3.5v.exe which updates the registry to

recognize a whole bunch of newer cd and dvd burners.

If your model still isn't recognized, find a <
