"I installed it on 2 machines, Win95a and 98SE.

On the 95a box, I can't find the driver, even after 3 installings and 2 reboots, even when I select to see all drivers, even those that don't match the hardware. The only trace from it I recognize as a loose file on C: is only 218 bytes. Apparently, installing failed. Instead, I'm using the Compaq SVGA driver, which I was

"The problem I had could verywell be with my computer as I just fixed and up graded one someone gave me. I could not get the .exe to exract but then this isn't the first that wouldn't extract but only wants to unzip. anyway good luck to the rest of you.

"This driver improved my monitor over-all perfomance.

Though it goes to a dos window and requires hitting the space bar and letter y to unzip it, it is quick and easy. Then I simply went into System Properties/Devices and updated my monitor driver.

I ran PC Doctor Monitor tests with excellent results afterwards."

"Driver from Compaq (HP) is sp9401.exe and can be found at url h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/codrus.html All compaq documentation states clearly the vol. knob and speaker off buttons will NOT work on non Presario PC's."

"The driver downloaded fine for me as all other drivers that I have gotten from driverguide.com. I've never had any trouble with the download function. Haven't tried it yet since I have got to transfer it to another computer, but I'm sure it will work."
