"I tried this driver in XP Pro and XP Home.

The problem I had was that the mouse responsiveness to each click attempted is bogus. i.e. You need to move the mouse after you clicked on an item in order for the OS to pick up the event. If you don't move the mouse after your click, NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!.

On top of that, the installation program makes the CPU to work at 10

"As mentioned on other driver comments, running on a Windows XP Media Center PC, this driver achieved no capability that did not exist before I installed this driver. Still shows as the basic 2 button scrolling mouse."

"It did not work on my SP2 machine. I tried all the tricks, and was left with Microsoft 2 button mouse support. It has worked on prior XP machines, allowing assignment of the thumb button and others. It won't work on this SP2 machine. Too bad, because it is a great gaming mouse."

"I installed this driver on my new XP box and it doesn't do anything the default drivers didn't do.

I.E., I just get a picture of a generic mouse in my rodent's properties and I can't program the 4th or middle buttons like I used to be able to in Win98 or NT. I am not happy about this with IBM, Lenova, or MicroInnovations, all of whom left us in the lurch with older mod
