This is a BIOS upgrade for those with a current BIOS FloridaTG/TGA 62-314E-041999-00101111-071595-440LX version 1.11, common in older Emachines. It will update your BIOS to FloridaTG/TGA 62-314E-081600-00101111-071595-440LX-FLORIDA 1.80. Download and unzip the file to a floppy disk. Use a windows 98 bootdisk to load this file. I had to do that as i received a NTLDR error when i used the dos version included with an earlier version of the file.
NOTE* Dont worry about the difference in the BIOS strings as the 3rd set of characters is the date of the BIOS release. EX: FloridaTG/TGA 62-314E-041999-00101111-071595-440LX, the 041999 is the date of release (April 19, 1999).
