Additional Notes

For Motorola Mobile Phone users, here's the driver that worked well with my V220. Of course with softwares such as P2K and Mobile Phone Tools and a data cable, you can transfer tools between your PC and phone. Note that this driver is temporarily overwritten by specific drivers if you use P2K Manager. Driver is restored after use of P2K Manager and after a reboot.

"Driver umpacked and placed Motorola folder and Handset Subfolder on my ProgramFiles folder

They were both empty. Drivers? where did they go???"

"This Driver was a waste of time, it did nothing.

Once installed the launch (executable) files become dead. Don't waste your time with this one."

"not known where the driver is saved after running the downlaod. could not direct the windows to the folder that the driver is located (if any!). automatic search for driver fails too. can you please tell us how this really work?"

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
