"i have a DV 1700f 17in. i am using the 1700e model under windows 2000 and it is working, althrough there are no driver details. i dont know when it was released.. to install go to update driver in device manager. click the option to view a driver list and them have disk. find location and select inf."

"It seems my ATI Rage card outmarks this (and other Plug and Play driver) when installed, delivering more refresh than the monitor can cope with. "sets colors for the monitor but is not a display driver. didn't help. I need the diplay adapter driver. Otherwise I am stuck with 640x480 @16 colors. SVGA drivers get puked up. I'm stumped!"
