"This driver is listed as a possible solution for the modem with following hardware Id:

PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3068&SUBSYS_B3201019&REV_80

However, if you look inside the inf, no such string appears.

People contributing to DriverGuide should be more careful checking the actual list of supported devices of a certain driver."

How to Update Motorola SM56 Modem Serial Wave Device Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
