"This said it would work for XP but it does not. It has drivers for WIN95 up to WIN2000. NONE of them work on XP. I tried them. If you have XP or VISTA, get a different driver. This one is not as claimed."

"I took the card out of another computer running win98 where it was working. I could not get the card to work running win98 on another computer using this card. I went and bought a new card which worked fine."

"The important files Windows needs to recognize the NIC are absent. The .sys and the .inf files are missing in the install. Otherwise it installed nicely. It's just unusable."

"I recently started reinstalling drivers on a neighbors Hp 8550c computer and was disapointed to discover hp did not have the appropriate driver. A quick google search and I discoverd driverguide. "This didn't work for me. It installed fine but kept showing disabled when I would reboot the system and once enabled I still didn't get a network connection, possibly because it appears that the .inf file didn't load the win98se files that were also needed. I found another en1207d-tx.zip on driverguide that worked very well for the system I am working on. HP Pavilion 85
