"Follow the installation instructions carefully and you should not have a problem.

I had been searching for a driver for an old Artec Scanner for a long time and as a last resort tried this one.

It works and that is all that matters."

"I install the driver work fine but when I open my scanner it want to install another driver call KINPO VIVIDSCAN S120 SCSI scanner device ???? Nothing works with XP ?"

"This drivers does work!! Thanks a million Damir! Just follow the directions Damir gave and it will work. Since it is an ISA you must manually tell Win XP what to do. Hehehehe, ahhhh the old days of driver installations. You will at the end of the driver installation saying that the driver is not working. Remember though, this is an ISA SCSI card and it is conflicting

with other components for resources. Then you must change the Resource I/O Range to 0340-035F. The exclamation mark will disappear once you change the I/O Range and restart. The driver name is UMAX UDS-is11 ISA SCSI Host Adapter."

"tried it on my DTC3181 in XP, works like a charm. (should by the way work for all cards with NCR400A chip)The remark above about adjusting memory address depends of course on your setting, could just as well be e.g. 2C0-2CF."
