Additional Notes

This driver WILL work with Windows 2000 RC1, RC2, RC3, and Final shipping version. When installing do not worry about the model number it displays when installing, it will work. The other drivers in this table stated for Windows 2000 do not work!

"The driver was installed by using control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager.

The audio device was selected and the driver looked for in the unzip folder. A

few seconds elapse and then the hardware was found. This driver was selected by reading the chip number on top of the audio IC in the upper left of the Asus

How to Update CMI8338 Device Drivers
