"I really need to start from tors,since my system has been upgraded. I cannot install from my original cd. My computer is not recognizing my CD rom drive. Neither does the driver upgrade recognize the original drivers to upgrade."

"This is a FIRMWARE update NOT a driver. I simply downloaded the file, un-zipped to a folder on the desktop, double clicked the exe and it did everything else for me. excellent."

"A must driver for windows XP SP2. If you own this DVD-R drive and want to burn newer DVD's you have to have the firmware update here."

"I'm sure this driver works fine for the drive, but I tried this driver during troubleshooting and it didn't fix the problem. The problem was an out of date BIOS."
