"Good driver I am glad I got it cuz otherwise my scanner wouldn't work. I had the old Win 98 OS but when I upgraded to Win XP my scanner wouldn't work so I am glad that it was just a driver problem and that driver guide had it."

"These old drivers worked well with win 98.That's how old the scanner is. But with WINME the problems started. WIN2K liked the drivers half the time.

Now WINXP it's sort of the same. drivers work then one day you reboot and can't see the extra hard drives. I have the orig CD but those don't work on XP

"The driver on the original disk with scanner did not work under XP. This driver works fine even though it isn't XP signed. I did not have to remove the old driver. Upon install make sure the scanner is connected else install fails."

"Believe the uploader: does not work on anything but XP.

I'm having heaps of trouble finding driver for this scanner (HP ScanJet 3400c) for my ME os. I don't understand why the driver only works with XP, I've had this thing for a few years now, so is older.... please, anyone, if you find driver that works with ME.....upload it... please!"
