"The driver HT 1869 V+, dose not exists (I read the source on the internet) If you have above sound pro chip on your motherboard, the driver you need is CM8330.DRV You can download it from C-Media web page www.cmedia.com.tw/e_download_01.htm If you are using Win 95 or 98 SE as an OS, you may have experience a crashing some of yours installed programs and Explorer as well (

"My problem is that when I try to run Adobe Premiere 5.1 the programme stops with this error message "protection fault cm8330.drv" so I am downloading an update to see if this fixes the problem."

"I had a cable modem installed, since then any telephone modem access (was already there) using AOL, as well as usage of other programs generates a general protection fault on this driver (CM8330.drv). My guess is that modem installation corrupted this file. Is this possible? Also, will downloading this file and copying it into the Windows/System directory solve my proble

"I was getting "MSMoney caused... in CM8330.drv". I downloaded it, put it into a seperate directry. shut down & restarted in DOS (doesn't work if you goto DOS from Win). Went to C \windows\system & moved the existing copy of CM8330 to a floppy. Started up Windows, moved the new CM8330 from it's directory to Windows/System (using Windows Explorer) and the problem is CURED
