### Quick Right Install Steps: Install Driver->Plug Controller ###

1. This driver Support Microsoft Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 OS, But doesn't support Windows 95.

2. If your OS is Microsoft Windows 98, Pls note that DirectX version must greater than 7.0a. you can find your directx version from: [Start]->[Run], type: dxdiag.exe, look over Directx item. if it's version lower, get the most new version from http://www.microsoft.com/directx/ website.

3. First, run setup.exe from driver disk. (from: [Start]->[Run], Type: A:\setup.exe).

5. Important: if you first plug the MP-88XX Controller and afterward install the driver. you must pull out controller and then replug it in USB Port, then System can find the new driver and install ok.

6. In [Control Pannel]->[Game Controller], find and select the MP-88XX Force Feedback Joypad. Click [Propertiy]->[Test], you can test your controller. if it's a DUAL SHOCK controller, press the [ANALOG] button, and then can use controller's two mini joystick. Important: if you cannot into the test item, Windows prompt like this: "Game Controller connect wrong". it's show that your directX version lower, pls follow the step 2 to upgrade it.

7. Important: Game Controller's shock function must need the Game Supports(Force Feedback). for example: Need for speed III & IV, Incomming..., you can find the game that support force feedback from this website: http://www.microsoft.com/products/hardware/sidewinder/force-feedback/games.htm. most of these game support the force feedback function. if your game doesn't support force feedback function, then the controller doesn't shock. for example: Some emulation game, like Bleem, VGS..., but except this shock function, other function: all button & mini joystick also support.

8. You can In [Control Pannel]->[Game Controller]->[Propertiy]->[Effect Set] sheet to disable some force feedback styler you doesn't like. for example: in Need for speed III game, perhaps you doesn't like the engine shock, so you can disable Sine Force or Ramp Force. Also you can test force feedback function: Click Left Motor button to test gamepad's left motor; click right motor to test the right motor.

9. For some reason: you doesn't like game shock or Some game support this controller's force feedback function not so well. for example: Need for speed V game, if you play it, it can exit itself. So, you can fix this problem form disable all force feedback styles from the [MP USB Force Feedback Setup] program. then you can play this game ok. if you want enable force feedback function, enable the force feedback styler you like.
