Download the appropriate self-extracting archive file onto your hard drive.
Unzip the files in the archive by running the downloaded executable file.
Make sure a USB Card Programmer is connected to your computer, and that a data card is inserted into the programmer.
Change to the directory in which you unzipped the files, (i.e., C:\GarminŽ), and run the update program, program _card.exe. Select "Card Programmer" and click "OK" to begin the software upload.
Remove the data card from the USB Card Programmer. Make sure that your GPS unit is powered on and insert the data card into the unit to begin uploading the software to the unit. Du
