The Chipset is the fantastic PRISM v2.5 - it just does not get any better !
The driver provides no support for WEP WPA Encrypition. This can be enabled in certain versions of XP.
As far as Linux is concerned.. THIS IS SOME CARD !! It supports a whopping 200mW Tx rate .. thats 8 (EIGHT) times the Transmit power of British Cards, has TWO external Antenna connectors (MMCX) and boy, can it drag in those signals or what!
I have it attached to two 7db Antennas giving around a 15 db gain,
I can get a 50% connection with my AP right at the other end of my Estate ! and other cards at that point register NO SIGNAL !
