"How can anyone rate a driver that doesn't work? I can't even be sure it's the right driver. My Alaris camera is a Quick Video Wee Cam BHB 98A, # 19673. Part #FGB-V000-003400. I downloaded the USB driver that seemed closest to it. Getting the driver was difficult. Getting rid of all reference to it was just as difficult. Your software must be written in Outer Mongolia."

"I don't recommend this for anyone with any other usb devices attached. It continuously went into install-shutdown-reinstall-shutdown mode. Drove me frickin' nuts."

"driver works well enough. Had to download twice and had to repair with WINRAR, but driver is working and is stable. I recommend the driver if you have a lot of time and patience to get it to work. It is better to spend a little time and effort than to try to get the disk (almost impossible) or contact Alaris for a copy (what a waste)."

"The program downloaded and installed in my system which is better than the other drivers i have tryed. It has been unable to capture that the video device is attached to my computer which it is so I am going to try some other things to see if I can get my computer to detect the hardware. the installation of the driver was very smooth."

"I downloaded this driver and installed it, and it crashed my computer. I figured maybe the install didnt completly install so i reinstalled the driver. Same thing crash crash crash. So if you have a weecam that was sent to you from earthlink, through it out, or do something cool w/ it like i did..... Set it on fire and watch it burn."

"installed windows98se and lilo bootloader. now I boot into win98 whenever I need the cam. saved $50 for a new cam. good cam, by the way. one would have to pay at least 50 bucks to get the same quality. I'm using the original drivers on the CD for my USB weeCam. which I found in a dumpster, by the way."

"I have the latest 98/2000 drivers for the Wee Cam, but my Wee Cam hasn't worked in several months. Appearrantly a Windows update has caused a conflick with the driver. "I have Windows XP Home. After downloading the .exe file, I ran it and unzippped the 4 .exe files to a folder. When I tried to run setup.exe, it said "Can't Run 16-Bit Windows program" Cannot Find setup.exe (or one of its components) What is going on??"

"this is the newest driver for the weecam, but there is a problem with it. in windows 2000 and xp(all versions)has a problem with the service packs. it has the java vm in them and thats what makes the computer crash when u use it online. i emailed the company before they went under and they said that the new driver is not compatible with xp service pack 1 and they werent

"IF you have a lot of time on your hands, please, I'm sure you can find a more rewarding hobby than trying to install this weewee camera! XP pro, SP1 w/direct X 9.0...an Alaris disk, the newer posted driver (v.1.35)...resistance is futile. The device fails to start. Run for your lives! Straight to your favorite vendor with signed drivers. You haven't got a chance. )

"Thank god somebody found this driver and put it here. My CD-Rom is down and I lost my driver during a system recovery. I have the disc, but can't use it. Thanks for putting this driver up here, it got me back up and filming. By the way, I have windows XP-home edition, and its working fine no problems, so the problems some of you are having must be due to other reasons. Goo

"These drivers do NOT work with XP. I am running XP Pro Build 2600 on a FAT32 system, and they do NOT work. They do the same thing that the original drivers did. They crash the computer. If you look at the dates of these new driver files, they are almost identical to the ones that came with my Alaris WeeCam camera. Works find in Win98SE, but NOT in XP. Think I am going to g

"Wee cam works fine on windows XP, but you have to go into your Bios and set your printer port to ECP, I guess it depends on what kind of motherboard you have, Giga-byte motherboards are the best, Xp will automatically see the camera, install its own driver, go to yahoo.com, wee cam works great!!, Or you could use photoshop 7 and import images from your parallel port weecam

"Well I did get the camera working after 3 reformats and installs.. I'm back to a win98se/XP dual boot config, and the camera is working fine in XP with Direct X 8.1.. BUT, I just upgraded to Direct X 9.0a 2nite and the camera stopped working and started rebooting my system again. I did a System Restore to unload Direct X 9.0a and now the camera is working fine again. So.

I have used the same camera both with 98se and 2000 without any problems. During the setup process an auto error was set to Microsoft - they said I needed SR-1, but my system is update. "This software said it was signed for Windows XP Home. I downloaded the software and installed it. Finally located and installed the hardware via the INF file. As soon as I tried to run the videogram creator program software, the system crashed. This software does not work for Windows XP."
