Seagate 15K RPM HDD Firmware Update 0006 (AC03)for the following HDDs ST318453LC / ST336753LC / ST373453LC

Issue: Ultra 320 SCSI host adapters are experiencing time out issues when running RAID 0,1 and 5.

Note: The HDDs or HDD cage must be connected to the onboard SCSI connector.

The firmware will not be updated if the HDDs are connected to a RAID card or LSI SCSI add-on card.

Download the attached file and run the EXE file to create a Win98 bootable firmware update diskette.

Please follow the instructions in the README.TXT file

After the firmware update is performed, the cables can be reconnected to the original hardware configuration.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
