"This driver was listed for XP but i rolled the dice and installed it on Win 10 64 bit pro and it worked. Had a unknown device in my device manager, looked at the hardware id and google searched on it's ID (ACPI\VEN_AWY&DEV_0001

) Found out it's called AMD away mode, installed w/o a problem the error is gone. This is a issue i had with a 10 year old motherboard i wen

"I looked high, wide and far for this driver (AWY0001.zip), using many different driver finder software to no avail. It was only when I ignored all suggestions dealing with device manager/device Instance Id, and used device manager/Hardware Ids: *AWY0001 in a google search that out of reputation I knew to choose first choice "driverguide.com" access to this downlo

"¡Perfecto! Casi me vuelvo loco buscando este dispositivo que Windows XP Pro SP2 no reconoce (ACPI\AWY0001) Ha funcionado sin problemas. Lo extraño es que este dispositivo en una característica de la placa base para procesadores AMD (AMD LIVE) y la placa en la que lo he instalado es un Pentium Socket 775. De todos modos, ha funcionado.

"Excellent!!! Worked perfect on Windows 7 32bit, RTM 7600, in an HP Media Center PC m7630la. The device was identified as ACPI\AWY0001\4&1EC577C0&0 in DevManager. The correct name (shown after installation) is "AMD AwayMode". This was strange to me, because the machine's got a Pentium D processor... and ATI Radeon Xpress 200 GPU :D . Greetings from México

"I used device mgr. to install this. I was skeptical about it working. Because Everest labled the missing driver as "Intel Quick Resume Technology" But, it worked flawlessly. :)"

"Worked well for me. This driver is often required after an XP re-install and comes in on yor device manager as Unknown Device. The driver is part of the AMD Motherboard drivers and this one was for AwayMode as pert of the power saving function of the board."
