"I was unable to get this driver to work on XP Pro. Get message A driver is installed that causes stability problems with your system. This driver will be disabled. Please contact the driver manufacturer for an update that is compatible with this version of Windows"

"Isntructions unclear whether to use the automatic driver install from Windows or whether you should run SETUP.EXE (tried both, both gave crapy results)

This scanner's drivers don't work for Win2k or WinXP because they are made for Win95 OSR2 and will work with Win98 if you cross your fingers.

It's a cheap scanner. Buy a new one."

"Installed this driver with WindowsXP. Also installed Ulead Photo Express 4. This is for a Compeye SmartKey 1236C scanner. Program still does not recognize existence of any scanner. Windows XP does not recognize existence of any scanner (no icon present in 'Scanners & Cameras' section of 'Control Panel'. Photo Express works great on its own."

"When i try to install smartkey 1236C is asking for disk4 (where is disk4?) My scanner is Simplex PP30M i try to install in XP Pro Thank for any help"
