"Did nothing, the mouse (HP) was jerky and movement sporadic. Finally went to Microsoft and got the generic intellipoint drivers for optical mice. Worked like a charm. Forget this driver and go get intellipoint.

system = laptop nc8000 with port replicator and hp supplied optical mouse."
