"It took a while to get the drivers up and running. I had an earlier version installed that I could not uninstall. I installed this driver and the usb ethernet did not work but now I could uninstall the whole thing. I rebooted the computer and did a fresh install of this driver and it went well. When I first started using the Pericom device it was slow to get going but with

"This driver is not work properly with NETGEAR EA 101 USB to Ethernet Adapter that run on Windows XP. It such rubbish."

"i have xp and this driver did install for the peracom ethernet adapter. Yet i still wasn't able to get my computer to use the adapter for the internet or for the two computer network i am trying to build. all the other drivers i downloaded and tried all gave the error cant start the device."
