"This one worked on my Broadcom 43XX Wireless network card. I had a HD crash and brought in a backup drive, but for some reason the OS would not acknowledge the presence of the WNetwork card. Burned this to a CD (uncompressed) on another machine and clicked on 'Setup' after placing it in the problem machine, and that was all that was needed."

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.

Tech Tip: Driver downloads and updates come in a variety of file formats with different file extensions. For example, you may have downloaded an EXE, INF, ZIP, or SYS file. Each file type has a slighty different installation procedure to follow.
