This works great. This is what you have to do: in device manager you will see a multimedia device that needs driver. Right click, update driver, browse, let me pick, choose add audio devide, click have disc, navigate to the folder you downloaded and use the available file. Sorry if confusing as I can't replicate my steps(device is already installed) note* you have to manually add the device, vista will not update the driver using this file as it is for xp
