"Driver didn't work with win2000, though I discovered win2000 will configure itself to get the orb usb device to work so I had no problems in the end"

"Does not find DLL when executed, and both cabinet files are corrupted. THis is dodgy, and whoever it is that is posting with Windows 98SE is just trying to boost the rating. Update your antivirus software."

"I have found another solution for ORB drivers. I note that Castlewood no longer exists (at least their website is no longer reachable). My new notebook (XP pro) could not find any suitable drivers for my Orb drive (thus could not run it), but my older notebook had found drivers in Win XP home - so I checked on the drivers in device controllers, copied all the relevant file

"During installation it is noted that this is a beta driver for Windows 98/Win ME. Severe "Unable to install DLL" error when using Windows XP. Tried to install on Win ME; had to create "Win 98" folder for file to unzip to since it was unable to create that folder. After running setup and rebooting, drive was recognized fined, but could not get drive t

"It's a pain but this will work.

Don't plug in the Orb drive yet.

Download and extract the drivers in XP. Right click on the 'setup.exe' file and choose 'Properties -> Compatibility' and set to "win 98/ME". "OK" your way out of the menu and double click on 'setup.exe'. Once done, reboot.
