"For the dv2423la that is sold with Vista, when you change to XP this adriver will help you only to get audio. The Conexant Audio and modem are a combo.

For audio it work at 100% teh audio control is for a cx20549.

for Modem is not recognized. - The reference seeme a CX20551."

"The driver install process is convoluted, but as long as the instructions are followed exactly there should be no issues with it. Very stable driver, only issue I've noticed is that mic volume tends to be a little on the low side, but that might just be because of the device itself, not necessarily the driver."

"I installed this driver on a Mecer Voayger AL-096 and had to install it manually. (for some reason the auto install kept giving me errors.) Now it works fine!"
