"Driver downloaded for HP ScanJet 4100c

Worked great after removing the _ from the end of the zip file.

Windows installed the driver right away and the scanner works just like it used to."

"I have an HP Scanjet 4100C, and since Windows 98, HP has not support for it. I downloaded this driver, for Windows Vista, and It works!!!!"

"I have used this driver with my HP ScanJet 3300C, and it works well.

The download file is mis-named, though. It has an _ after the .zip that you have to get rid of first.

The zip file and contents are virus-free and spyware-free."

"WOW! This driver saved my HP ScanJet 3300C.

Maid it to work on Windows 7 32bit.

As HP doesn't support it any more, this has realy saved it from being thrown away to trash.

"I have Hewlett-Packard ScanJet 4p (HP C1130A) connected to my PC (Vista) by an Adaptec USB2-Xchange Adapter. I used this file (hpsjiip-vista)unzipped with winzip then updated driver it works great. I use it with Softscan PaperPort thanks to all."

"After installing upgrading to Windows 7 from XP, my HP Scanjet 5300c showed up as not having any driver. I searched and found this driver and downloaded it and installed. It satisfied Windows7 requirements and has worked great for my scanner for all functions so far."

"I installed this on Vista Home Premium for my HP Scanjet 3300C. Took a few goes to get Vista to acknowledge the driver's presence but once it did...hey presto...scanner is working just fine, opens as WIA in Photoshop under 'import scanner'..all good..I recommend it!!!"

My computer has a Windows Seven x64 and this driver can't support this OS, only x32 based systems.

But I see others users that tested sucessfuly this driver for Scanjet 3300/3400C. It's works well in Vista x32/Seven x32.

"I install this driver because HP has not updated - and it will not update! - the Vista controllers for the 4070 ScanJet Photosmart. Generally this driver works well with my scanner, but I cannot use the option to digitize slides, the best benefit of this model (and the reason to buy it) I had to return to XP and install the old drivers while I have the money to acquire ano

"I installed this driver in Vista Home Premium for my HP Scanjet 3300C. A few goes to get Vista to acknowledge it's presence but once it did...hey presto...all working fine for the last couple of days. Imports nicely into Photoshop too! Highly recommended at this point."
