"the driver would not work properly and I kept reinstalling and rebooting my computer with no success. I don't feel that it works with xp so I am still looking for a driver for studio 128x that is compatible with xp."

"Fantastic !! I was able to install the driver and now can use the Studio 64 XTC with Sonar Home Studio 4 XL, with no problems....I followed the enclosed instructions, but there's been some minor changes to XP, so you have to do a few things a little bit differently with whatever level OS you have...not hard to figure out, and when asked for driver location, enter "C:\

"Don't know why it didn't work, but I tried for 7 hours with many installs and uninstalls and got no results. Every time I tried to start the studio 128.exe I got a "could not find the driver - so no midi operations are allowed" messsage . I followed the instructions line by line and made sure that the oemsetup.inf file was in the same folder as xtc2000.dll.

"Yes - Finally! I also haven't noticed a problem with the serial data in, but

I haven't really tried jamming it up. The baud rate on the 128x has to be set higher than 38.4K to keep up with today's fast MIDI devices.

"Finally a driver for XP, very happy with that.

One disappointment: Midi In is not stable, especially on controller data. Hopefully there will be an update soon..."
