"This driver WILL NOT work on a Windows XP SP2 system. The correct driver can be had on Samsung's site and it's name is "Samsung ML-1710 Printer Driver GDI v5.33." So there!"

"driverguide gives this file printer-samsung_ML1710_USB.exe as suitable for Win XP. When extracted, the inf says Win 98. No wonder it won't work with XP."

"Driver unzips properly, but Windows XP SP1 or SP2 will not recognize this with the ML-1710. Driver did not work at all."

"This driver is NOT for WinXP. However when I installed it on my Win98SE computer it worked good. I had to reinstall for it to be compatible to my digital camera (software conflict) but other than that it works fine. There are no bells and whistles (added features) but for a basic software install it is good."
