"For those of you who are using Vista, this won't work. I seem to have no place to turn except to pitch a perfectly good scanner and replace it with one that is Vista compatible. That, or pitch Vista and go back to XP. This is the driver I believe I had been using under Win98 and XP, and it worked fine. Hmm...I may take the second option."

"Unable to install driver. I've downloaded it several times and it just sits in a file. Every time I try to manually install the wizard goes all the way to the end and says a function driver was not specified and won't complete"

have drivers for old equipment...I have an Acer Scanner..bought in

1999...Its called AcerScan Model 320U...I have windows 98 second edition...

My old driver on the CD disk for the scanner would no longer load..so I gave this a try and was very surprised and happy...It worked great...but be s

"Took a lot of doing to get thru the XP security since the driver was not registered with them. Had to reinstall the scanner program again after the new driver. Seems to be working so far so good."
