"This driver caused the modem speaker to stay on after dialing to the Internet when I installed it on a WinXP system. Only use this driver if you have no other alternative and don't mind the speaker noise, it is really only for Conexant made modem when using WinXP."

"Haven't actually connected the modem to the Internet yet with this driver, as not near a jackpoint (I am on home network). But - it's the first driver that XP has actually recognized as being a valid driver for this modem and it installed it with no negative dialog boxes. :P"
