"Downloaded driver only. Saved to D:\downloads. Unset property "Block" to "Unblock". Scanned file with AVG virus detector. No threats found. Extracted archive with Windows extract. Ran file "setup.exe." Program ran, installed driver, and corrected Device manager error and correctly installed with no issues."

"This driver package (Intel) took care of Toshiba Satellite PCI Communication Device. I had to look in Device Manager > Driver ID to get the PCI\VEN # and searched for it that way. Toshiba lists so many driver files for this model on their support page- even when I put in the serial number of the laptop - the list was so long with many different devices for each hardware

item. They really don't have a good system like Dell. Over the years of working with all brands of computers, Dell has, IMHO, the best resources for locating drivers. Only occasionally does Dell slip up but rarely. Took me way too long to setup this Toshiba Satellite after a hard drive failure. If you know some shortcuts, please enlighten me."
