"For those wondering why the "driver" dosen't work..its a firmware upgrade, NOT a driver. Read the file contents!

IDK about your OS, but my win2k SP4 found the drive just fine using an Adaptec SCUSI card to attach it. 95/98 prolly not, but win2k/XP should find it."

"I tried using this driver both on a Windows 2000 and Windows 98 and unfortunately I could not get it to work, it appears that the Scan Drive is not seeing the drive. May be there is a problem with drive??"

"Hi, I am running windows me now and I cant get my smart and friendly cdr 2006 plus to work as a recorder. It works like a plain cd rom. I tried the 242 winup driver and it still doesnt work any help would be great just email me."
