"May I add, as Michael has said, No monitor needs a driver. Repeat, monitors do not need drivers, only .inf files. If you cannot find your monitor select 'Plug and Play Monitor' in any version of windows. This will enable you to experiment with resolution/refresh rates."

"For all of you who always want to have drivers for Monitors. Of course, if you have one -> have fun and use it, but otherwise there is no real problem, because no Monitor really NEEDs any driver. The INF File ONLY shows the limitations of the monitor and prevents the graphic card from sending out a too high frequency. So the only thing YOU should know is how HIGH you ca

"My experience with the driver (CA 1716SL monitor) downloaded the file to disk (A ). With automatic plug-n-play, Windows didn't find the driver, it just kept offering the standard driver on C , which I allowed it to install. Then went to System-device manager-monitors-driver update- pointed it to A and it worked, the list of monitors came up, everything OK. Hope this help

"See, what happened is somehow I tried to just update my driver for the heck of it, but it got deleted and Windows has been using MSDISP.inf instead. This leaves my monitor at 16 colors and 640x400. I FINALLY find this driver (yay) but when I go through device manager and update driver, Windows STILL says the best driver is MSDISP.inf. I've gone through specific file/loc

"For all you people that don't know how to install the driver just save it to a folder, then go to your device manager and update the driver from there. There is NO SET UP FILE just point the wizard to where you put the file."

"Hi, I have a little with your driver. It won't run correctly with my 17" Smile monitor!!! I can't get the sollution above 480*600 and it will also only run 16 colours. Very uncool. Now i'm trying to change my graphic card driver!!!"

"well, this driver refuses to let my KFC CA-2011 monitor use resolutions above 1024x768@60Hz ( I use Windows 2000 Pro, could that be the problem? Please reply to my e-mail.
