"This program copyed (.DLL) files to my system folder except for one that it claimed was in use.

It did nothing to help my system recognize the scanner.

I would not recomend it."

"This driver didn't work when I downloaded it off the manufacturer's site either. I was given a ScanMagic 1200 UB Plus scanner by a friend and even the CD that came with it won't work....

"download was fine, upon installation,I received an error message that the file was corrupt. I am not sure if it is the file or that windows xp seems to one step away from skynet and has a mind of its own."

"Driver not bad, uses a windows dialog to set settings, the other drivers i tried which were just the inf files and the driver without the scan dialogs just scalled in the lowest resolution of 50dpi! but this one works fine :)"

"This driver is 100% useless. It will not run, will not install and does not work. When I click on it to begin the install it prduces the following error:

"The Win16 Subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOSX.EXE must be in your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your PATH." This is XP, not DOS!

"I had some problems at first trying to get this driver to work running Windows 2000.But I later realized that it was simply because I had not folled EVERY step the correct way.If you read the intructions for the driver downloads from Mustek,you should have no prblems getting this one to work like a charm. )Joseph Pecpre"

"I tried all of the above without success, finally went to this site and downloaded the files for a Scansoft 1200 UB Plus. ******* CAUTION ******** 1. Install the files with the scanner unplugged from the pc. 2. Do not ReStart, when the install is complete. 3. Shut the pc down!!! 4. Plug in the scanner. 5. Boot the pc up and Win XP found "New Hardware". Everything worke

"If you are trying to install for XP or 2000 and already have the old drivers and applications you need to get this .exe and follow the instructions. It works. for english version www.mustek.com.tw/Download/driv_scanr/english/1200usbplus.html for european version www.mustek.com.tw/Download/driv_scanr/europe/1200usbplus.html let me know if it worked"

Do not re-boot when it prompts you to do so. Now unzip the pns file- and extract all the files to a folder, then run web.exe, don't reboot then either. Shutdown (not restart). "Hmm I couldn't get this thing to work either. The only time this scanner has worked was when I had 2000 and then upgraded to XP. However it doesn't seem to work if your starting out on XP"
