"After I formatted my HDD, my modem and sound card did not work.

I opened the PC cover, and took note of the modem and sound card's manufacturer (you can find it on the main chip).

Then I tried driverguide. It is perfect now. DRIVERGUIDE rescued my life.

Try it if you have the same problem."

"Installed the modem, but the drivers provided were actually older than the default ones my system had. In other words, the driver was old and unnecessary.

Still though, I would recommend checking these people out. My other drivers have performed beautifully.

"It was a Generic driver so I didn't expect much else.

It loaded with some difficulty then, when the modem was connected, although you could browse, it screeched the whole time."
