"This driver comes on a lot of the CD's supplied with the Ambient modems, ie, 536EP, unlikely to solve my problem of only running at a max of 33k, when a Compaq notebook modem runs at up to 46k on the same line. Using it on an Asus A7S333 motherboard, which might be the problem."

"I have an INAKAM Intel Ambient V90/V92 HaM data fax voice PCI modem. I managed to get it installed under Windows XP in Safe mode, but it repeatedly and consistently crashed my computer when I tried to run XP in normal mode. Probably the wrong driver for my modem! IntelHamDataFaxVoiceModem_XP.exe worked just fine when I got it installed in Safe mode."
