"Exe is self extracting, unpacks to dir of your choice. After that, click properties in WinXP device manager on the unidentified modem and point it to the dir, it should find it and istall without problems. Only problem is that modem was fried anyway so was unable to tell how well it works. (sigh)"

"I got it!

First download SLWDMHLP.SYS so widows will recognize the card.

Search for new hardware and point windows to this file.

After you get: "This device cannot start. (code 10)"

Then download and extract these files, go to device manager, select the modem, update the drivers selecting the directory with these new files.
