Ok, this driver works with windows xp pro, but you have to work a bit...

1) first unpack to a directory of your choice

2) rename the file "AS9600p" to "SETUP" (that's why the file is not found!)

3) run install

4) go to start > settings > control panel. Double click on system. C

"It works with windows xp pro, but you have to sweat over it a bit...

- First unpack to a directory of your choice

- rename the file "As9600p" to "SETUP" (that's why the file isn't found!)

- run install

- in windows xp: go to start > settings > control panel >

system > device manager

"Yes this work just fine once you realise you need to open and save, or rename, the appropiate setup file as setup.inf (as9600p) All else was automatic when the install program is run."

"Ok is anyone having the same problem with their Scanner that I am? Please email me I dont check back here often. Since I upgraded to XP when I scan in color I get funky lines through the picts. Is this a driver problem or a scanner problem. Please help!! Thanks"
