This is a MUCH better way than the way Mustek delivers their drivers!! One large file sure beats the heck outta 5 seperate download files that the Mfg has to offer. THAT is a serious hassle!!

"This istalled first with the actual Driver ScanExpress_1200_UB_Plus_Wia which can be found on here will work. Intsall this first then restart and install that . restart once more with the scanner pluged in and you should be good to go."

"Was very frusterated at first, the panel was not responding. Went into accessories, and chose program compatibility wizard, chose scanner panel, used win 98, and turned off xp visual settings, and whalla, it worked. Saved the settings, and now I am happy."

"Not a great deal of use, experienced problems during the install using this driver, and several problems getting the driver to function correctly following install. Has a habit of forgetting that the machine is attached..."

"Ok, this is the driver that works. It's got the same stuff as the one you'll see on here that's about 9 meg, PLUS the update that (for me at least) makes the scanner actually work under win2k and photoshop.

If you happen to have one of these scanners, this is the driver u want.

"This driver asks for a floppy disk 2 and when I point to or type the address where it is, it doesn't see it. It keeps asking for floppy disk number 2

"Managed to install the driver but had to go to mustek.com to get instructions.Cant seem to find xpdriver.exe file which it talks about in instructions and also scan panel program cant find a file and crashes.apart from that the scanner works on other programs."

"Absolutely brilliant. I was quite upset when my supplied installation disk would not work with XP (even though it claims XP compatibility). However, this is brilliant, just follow the instructions included in the zip folder. It's great, it works."
