"I am hoping this is the same driver I'd lost a while ago. {I didn't think I'd be using 98SE, ooops...)

It worked well before [if this is the same one I'd used before], thus the recomendation."

"It is probably working fine IF you have a Benq scanner. I tried to use it (as the wizard said) on an Acer Scanner and that didn't work out at all. Maybe it is due to too low voltage - I could only provide 12V and it is supposed to get 16V. So it MIGHT work with the correct adapter."

"Have downloaded this driver on sever occasions on Win2K machines. Driver has always installed flawlessly if you follow the normal procedure of rebooting after download and installation. On my systems, it has been 100% stable. This is the only driver that works with my older scanner so I have not had an opportunity to review other offerings."

"great site as always. i've been so used in backing up my drivers before mishaps (annuall-pain-in-the-neck-breakdown-reformats) and I would put them in cd's. problem is cd's tend to get lost in tons of other cd's even with labels. so this site is very useful if you wanted a driver."

"Driver works fine (win98se Dutch), Acerscan 620U Prisa usb.

Note: you need to install Ulead-Photo-Express to use the scanner.

Or any other (scanning) application will do the job.

You can not scan anything by just installing this driver.

"The Driver worked excellently well. My Acer scanner is an old one. It worked good with windows 98, but when I installed windows xp. it did not woek properly. Your dirver fixed all problems.

"The driver is supposed to work on Mac os X but the file is a .exe - how am I supposed to run this on the Mac Os? It seems to be a zip file but I can't open it (I tried the command line unzip as well as the latest stuffIt)

I'll take a look if I can find a PC emulator..."

"Did not work with Windows XP - scanner did not move and gave error message "Read Image Data error Code FFFF,0001 - please restart the scanner." every time."

"The driver did not download to my computer although your system said it did. I used search on my computer and it was not there. When I tried to download it again I was informed I had exceeded my download capacity. What is the deal?

I can't rate something I did not get."

"originally i got the mirascan together with Textbridge OCR and Copier1.2 by bying an Acerscanner.Fine software on Windows 98 but now on Windows XP i got problems with the Textbridge part.There is a program inside"instant.access.exe" which does not work at all in XP , so what to do?"
