"Unzipped the file, then used Device Manager to point to the updated driver. Worked like a charm. You will need the Win 98 CD to finish loading the needed files."

"Friggin' HP! Don't have a single driver I need for Pavilion XL776 after replacement of cheap-ass Maxtor HDD, which means stupid recovery CD won't work without HP tech waving a dead chicken over it. Saved my butt big-time! MY LIFE FOR YOOOOU!"

"english it didnt work with w98, it doesnt have the type of card and its imposible to continue. español no funciona con w98 no tiene tipo de tarjeta y de ahi no pasas."

"I will check this driver out. I upgraded a HP celeron system to Windows 2000, but need a network adapter to get onto the net. Hopefully this works The network card is a Fast Ethernet 10/1000 Network card Model # N C100 version 2.1 Any possible verication on resolving this network problem, or do I have to reformat to the old Win 98 system. Reformated old system due to Nim

"on a HP Vectra XE310 (2Mrd mais bon on me l'a imposé) it does not work with win98 (2MrdTO, mais aussi imposé. When win98 try to use the net1207.inf it find no type of card and so I can not follow up the install procedure."
