"This Conexant modem came in a Dell Dimension 8100 that had been upgraded from Windows ME to XP Home. I tried all the drivers at Dell's website and none of them worked. This one worked perfect from the get-go!"

"I liked this drivers overall performance. It seemed to handle the Voice Communications very well. The driver delivers full and half duplex support and tends to setup the modem to use Half Duplex by defualt which is what I suggest for this type of chipset and modern day ISP's.

"Used on 2k3 SBS install. Worked great, used Device Manager and Update Drivers. I'd recommend against the Install program that is bundled, it froze my machine trying to run in a dos shell. Fun!

Update Drivers worked fantastic, though!"

"It was real difficult for windows to find it. I tried to "add programs" and of course windows sucky wizard never finds anything. I tried system manager and clicked on pci device and tried to add a device and after playing around it finally worked. I really don't know how I did it but it was not easy to get it to install. Once it is installed the driver works gr

"If the chipset is Conexant CX11256-11 (RD01-D850), then it's the special Reisling HSF2 model. Regular drivers will not work with XP. I went through at least 20 drivers that were supposed to work but they didn't. This driver was the ONLY one that worked with XP. It works great. The modem came with an eMachines T3828. Thanks for the upload. It is a lifesaver!"

"WinXP (SP3) did not attempt to pick this driver up when pointed directly to the uncompressed files... Tried the included "HFXSetup" program, and still no results. Keeping in mind that this is a "Vista Special" Compaq, the card is still a card installed in a PCI slot. Perhaps a fudjemakated modem board (much like mainboard) ? I'll look for a differen
