"User wanted to do AOL dial-up, was getting ready to buy 56K modem, didn't know she already had 56k PCI installed, but drivers were out dated. I found the driver, downloaded it, and she'd online !

"Very difficult to find driver for PCTEL modem riser, but this one worked. The modem itself is not real reliable. I don't know if that's hardware or software problem. Could be either since it's a software modem."

"Right on the nose! This driver worked in an Elite Group Model GQ 3091 computer I was repairing. I saved the driver to a temp file, saved it on a floppy disk, unzipped it to a temp file on the Elite Computer and it worked perfectly.

"This driver is the best, it worked in less than one minute in Windows 2000 Professional. Windows 2k won't recognize the modem without the drivers, it will only show a PCI device without drivers. "Windows recognized it and loaded it, however, now it says that the "Device Failed to start." However, I think this is caused by a wierd jumper setting on my board concerning the AMR port, gonna go look at it."
