"Downloaded driver would not open - returns message "WINZIP SELF EXTRACTER HEADER CORRUPT" "possible cause bad disk or file transfer error" If anyone finds driver that works please email scholpp@taconic.net"

"Driver may be fine, but I have downloadd it several times to different systems and I always get the message that the file cannot be extracted because it is corrupt. If someone gets better results please let me know."

"Ignore the earlier comments. The problem was with the winzip install. Once the driver file was correctly un-zipped, the driver installed and worked fine."

"Bad driver. The one here and the same file from Xerox give the same error on running: header corrupt. Unusable."

"Worked great. Unzipped then ran XP_VB.exe which installed the drivers files to C:\XeroxXD. Hooked up and turned on the printer, pointed WinXP to the C:\XeroxXD location and it found it, installed it, worked - no problems."

"It took several tries to download and run: it kept generating error messages that the self-extractor's headers were corrupt. Once we got past that stage, it hung a couple of times during the Install New Printer wizard.

However, it did eventually work, and the printer can print."

"it works fine if you read the directions IF you noticed, take a look at your C drive, a file XeroxXD was created that you can now install the drivers from. Run exe, Add printer, choose to select location, location is in the xeroxxd dir"

"I tried several times to install this driver. The driver will not load. I am guessing this is because my XD100 is on a USB to Parallel cable. I know the cable works since I use it elsewhere. And the printer does work on a Win98se PC using the LPT1 port. There is conflicting information on the Xerox website and in the readme that you can/cannot load the printer through
