"Actually a 'inf' file. If a monitor is not plug and play, it can be tricky getting XP to display appropriate modes. Unzip, then go to 'update driver' and point it to the unzipped file.

You can use this inf file for other non plug and play monitors too of course, but most of the modes are very high resolution -- unusual for older monitors.
